A clone is a direct copy from the virtual to a physical drive. With that in place, this post focuses on methods of cloning, imaging, or creating an ISO of the virtual Ubuntu system in VMware Player. This post revisits some of the key methods discussed in the previous post. A previous post examined ways of converting a Linux virtual machine (VM) running in VirtualBox to a physical installation (V2P) running from an actual drive.
